FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
FOB RELATED QUESTIONS:
Why isn’t my fob working?
For access to the amenities, all HOA dues must be paid up to date. Be aware it can take up to three (3) days for the security company to (re)activate a fob.
I lost my fob, can I get a replacement?
Replacement fobs cost $100 and the lost fob will be deactivated. Be aware it can take up to three (3) days for the security company to (re)activate a fob.
Can I purchase an extra fob?
Only one fob per household is allowed.
POOL & CABANA RELATED QUESTIONS:
Can I reserve the pool or cabana for a party?
There are no reservations for the Biltmore fascilities and members are limited to one (1) guest per HOA member. Because the amenities are shared by all residents, it would not be fair to other members who also want to use them.
That said, we can be somewhat flexible with use of the Cabana area and grill only, as long as the gathering remains reasonable in size, does not interfere with other residents’ use of the amenities, and the area is cleaned up afterward. Please also keep in mind that adult gatherings or larger group events are generally discouraged, so we would ask that you keep the gathering modest and respectful of the neighborhood.
I’m not a resident of Biltmore and/or my house is outside the HOA, can I become a member?
Only Biltmore residents are allowed to be members, and it is not possible to add a residence.
Can I bring my dog with me into the pool area?
Dogs are not allowed, this is a City of Plano rule.
GENERAL QUESTIONS:
Our neighbor’s lawn is out of control! Can you please do something?!
While we sometimes send notifications to residents for these matters, it’s usually more effective to report these issues to the City of Plano’s Fix It Plano website where you can track responses. You can find the link here: https://www.plano.gov/1096/Fix-It-Plano.
Why am I getting two HOA bills?
If you live in the patio homes, there are two HOAs: the Biltmore Swim & Racquet Club recreational HOA (us), and the completely separate Patio Homeowners Association. You can find their website here: https://biltmorepatio.org/
